Coffee Time

Taking inspiration from spatial coffee house configuration we created a furniture system that could be easily mantled and dismantled by the users. Coffee and sitting create a therapeutic activity where intimate ideas can be shared, enhanced by the tradition of coffee ground reading. This is why we aim to create a knowledge-sharing environment where connections and solidarity ideas emerge and flourish from everyday tradition. 

When we look at traditional coffee houses in the Eastern Mediterranean region, we see that the social activities revolve around a tree that defines a space and shade around it. Most of the time, the people sit on stools that are easy to configure depending on the conversation, or number of people in a group that are interacting. 

The dictionary helps guide individuals in understanding the symbols found in Turkish coffee readings, enabling anyone to participate and interpret symbols, even without prior knowledge.
